Apply for Canadian citizenship.
To be eligible to become a Canadian citizen, applicant must:
- be a permanent resident.
- must have been physically in Canada for at least 1,095 days (3 years) during the 5 years before the date you sign your application.
- have filed your taxes for at least 3 years during the 5 years preceding the date of application.
- The application between the age of 18 – 54 years must pass a citizenship test.
- If you’re 18 to 54 years of age, you must submit proof that you can speak and listen at the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 4 or higher in English or French. OR proof can be post-secondary program in English (it can be from outside of Canada as well)
Note: You don’t need a valid PR card to apply for citizenship. You can apply with an expired PR card. Please contact us for more information
